Modular living is my dream. The plans are only $35 and apparently, you can get all the supplies for around $10,000. When Jared and I were searching for a house, we really wanted to buy a piece of land and build one of these babies. Our short term alternative was to buy an airstream on e-bay. We wanted to refinish the inside, reupholster the furniture, and call it home. Unfortunately, Louisiana suffers from lots of wind damage during those little hurricanes. Jared’s mom convinced me that a tree would land on our roof.

So we did the average thing and bought a home, four walls, cement slab and a landscaped yard. Someday we hope that we will find ourselves in a small home that we built with one large living area and a loft. In the meantime, we like feeling as if we are adults.
